Auction of First New Retail 2016 Cadillac CT6 Raises $200,000 to Benefit Karmanos Cancer Institute
DETROIT – The first new retail production 2016 Cadillac CT6 sold for $200,000 Friday evening at the 13th Annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction in Palm Beach, Fla. All proceeds from the sale to dealer David Flynn from Columbiana, Ohio, will benefit the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.

The woman behind the wheel is Molly Sharp, who got her start by studying metalsmithing in high school. When her hobby turned into a passion, the young designer went on to train in lapidary design in Taos, New Mexico; goldsmithing in Portland, Oregon; and advanced metalsmithing in Nacogdoches.

DETROIT – Cadillac is partnering with The LIFERS Project and photographer Matt Alberts to create “The Seasons Collection,” a multi-media photography collection of adventure sports-driven stories about people who push the limits in pursuit of their passion.
Using wet collodion photography, a 19th Century technique known for its sensitivity to ultraviolet light, long exposure times and enduring images, “The Seasons Collection” follows individuals and finds the correlation between what drives them and the seasons that inspire them.
